Nelsons Salon and Barbershop was established in June of 2022. Korto and Leo are co-owners of this family owned black business. It was Korto’s dream to start her own shop. Moving from Liberia to the east coast, she was a young girl helping with a brand new shop, seeing the renovations and set up process really inspired her to one day do the same. Doing hair for professionally from salons to her house, 19 years later with the help of her brother, Leo, they were able to make this a dream come true. Creating a braidery salon and barbershop in one was something unique they wanted so it would be a family friendly shop servicing men, women and children. We are grateful for every customer that has walked through our doors and hope to make many more clients happy with our services!
